Spiritual Development Pastor

About the Role:  First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow (FBCBA) is seeking a Spiritual Development Pastor who is a spiritually mature leader and has a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. He will be responsible for planning, casting vision, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive disciple-making strategy for adults. The focus of this position is leading the adult groups ministry of the church (including Sunday School, small groups, and 365 groups), as well as developing spiritual development content in a variety of formats for the purpose of multiplying disciples.

Time Commitment: Full Time Employee

Education/Experience:  Master’s degree or equivalent experience, seminary degree preferred. Minimum of five years’ experience on a medium to large church staff leading in Spiritual Development/Discipleship/Christian education ministry.

Student Pastor

About the Role:  First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow (FBCBA) is seeking a Student Pastor who is a spiritually mature leader and has a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ. He will be responsible to the church, under the direction of the Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor, for overseeing all ministries in Middle School through High School. The Student Pastor is responsible for the creation and management of a strategic plan for the spiritual formation of all students and student leadership that is aligned with the mission, vision, objectives and goals of First Baptist Church of Broken Arrow.

Time Commitment: Full Time Employee

Education/Experience:  Minimum of 3 years’ experience in leading a student ministry in a medium to large church setting. Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Seminary training preferred.

Community Preschool Teacher

Position Supports: Community Preschool

Time Commitment: School Year Teacher (18-20 hours/week), Summer Camp Teacher (12 hours/week), or Substitute Teacher (as needed)

Education/Experience: The ideal candidate has some experience working with children. 

Qualifications/Skills: The ideal candidate must be a committed follower of Christ. The ideal candidate must work well with others and with good communication skills. The ideal candidate must be able to develop lesson plans to assist children with character development through the use of age-appropriate Bible-based thematic units, as well as concepts in math, writing, music, art, social studies, and science. CPS is always accepting applications for teachers for the school year, Summer Camp, and applications for substitute teachers for both Summer Camp and the school year. 

 

iKamp Counselor

Position Supports: Almighty Sports, Sports and Recreation Ministry

Time Commitment: Full time seasonal 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday for 8 weeks (June 7 - July 30)

Education/Experience: Senior in high school or college student preferred. The ideal candidate has some experience working with children.

Qualifications/Skills: The ideal candidate must be a committed follower of Christ. The candidate must be able to complete assigned tasks, have great communication skills, and enjoy working around children.
